The Duke of Shame

Once upon a time in the town of Hi-Nella there lived a lonely Duke. The Duke lived in the slum of Fox Ridge where only his five closest friends ever came to visit him (rather frequently I might say). These friends (which only included one girl...that's me) loved to hang out, watch movies, and play video games all day and all night long. They would come over at random times seeing as the Duke of Fox Rigde was the only one to have his own place [even though his daddy (a scary kind of man) paid for it all] and it was a not-so-safe haven from there everyday lives. I say this because they liked to randomly make fun of each other and it could almost escalate to fist fights. This fun bunch liked to call themselves 'The Crew'. (Right about now you are thinking they all sound pretty lame...you are correct)

Duke was always a very selfish person, being an only child his parents never taught him to share but that everything he wanted was what he was going to get...their little Jamie...I mean Duke! He would always expect the crew to do what he wanted to do and never really cared about what they wanted, sometimes he would unwillingly give but definitely bitch about it. He also never really cared much about his appearance and never really dressed up all that much, not like he had to, but jeans and a t-shirt was the way he liked it.

Duke worked as a night-time supervisor at the big shipping company of UPS. After working there for a year or so he decided to up and quit. There was really no good reason, he just didn't want to work there anymore...he wanted to be a forrest ranger I think. A few weeks later Puma, a crew member, found this temp job that involved something along the lines of grading papers for kids in other states. He informed Duke about this who decided this job was for him. Lima Beanz, who has a baby on the way was already working at the time decided that he would do this too as soon as his academic tamponship ran out.

It wasn't long before Puma and Duke were telling us stories of the grading papers job and the first person we heard about was...Monica. They both said right away that she was really hot and that she reminded them of Jenn, an old hook-up of Dukes. That "turned them off". I didn't buy it for a second and I think I even told Lima Beanz at one point that Duke hooked up with Jenn so much and that he probably would start liking this new girl. Anywho...it wasn't long before Puma and Duke started hanging out with these new work friends.

The Duke was also starting to care more about his appearance...he started shopping at 'Express for Men' and other gay type stores that only Lima Beanz would shop at. He would get dressed up to sit on his couch and watch a movie and claim that this was how he always dressed...yeah, OK! He even started shopping with this Monica girl (who is still married by the way). Not that there is anything wrong with that, its just that this wasn't Jamie...er, Duke.

We all started getting the impression that he liked Monica. Finally, we met her and she seemed very nice (and I don't like girls). It was obvious to all of us that he was head over heels for her but he claimed that he thought of her as a sister and nothing more...LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE!!!!!

So finally he hooks up with the girl (stud of the summer so far...now it is all up to Drew) and it all comes out. He admits to liking her (its about time) and says that everyone knew it except for him. This is hard to believe because of the pure fact that he is just LAME! I am actually happy for him seeing as its about friggin' time.

Now all he wants to do is be with Monica...understandable. Its the phase where all you want to do is be with that person. Every couple goes through it. But he is making a commitment to one thing and dicking it over to be with her. For instance if you read
